Fathers Day Cupcakes

We should spoil Dad on Father's Day so show him how much we love him by baking him his own batch of Fathers Day cupcakes.

In my family we give a token gift and Dad loves to receive something that we have put some thought and time into.

It's great to visit Dad on his Special Day and share cupcakes that you have made for morning or afternoon tea.
If everyone's Dad is like my Dad, you can't go wrong with chocolate. You can either make vanilla cupcakes topped with any chocolate frosting or you can bake chocolate cupcakes frosted with a rich chocolate ganache. For the real chocolate lover, make chocolate mud cupcakes or try my yummy chocolate hazelnut cupcakes. They can both be frosted with ganache.

If your Dad is not a chocolate-lover, spoil him with cupcakes with blue buttercream frosting.

Does Dad love the beach? Use beach themed chocolates to decorate the cupcakes.

Or, if your Dad loves sports, decorate cupcakes in his favourite team's colours.

Orange and poppy seed cupcakes are also sure to be popular with Dad on his special "Dad's day".
