Cupcake Cookies
Cupcake cookies are easy to make and fun to decorate. They are ideal for birthday parties when the guests can decorate their own as a party game or take one home that you have prepared earlier.
Follow the recipe for butter biscuits. Make up a quantity of royal icing and divide into small bowls according to the number of colors you will be using for the cupcake-shaped cookies. Decorate and top with sprinkles as desired. Use the royal icing to pipe names of your guests on each cupcake biscuit if you are giving them out as a party favor. If you are make cookies for party favors, wrap each cupcake cookie in cellophane and tie with colored ribbon.
