Cupcake Painting
My youngest daughter, Elizabeth, painted this cupcake painting during her school holidays. She had been given some canvas and paints for her 10th birthday and thought she'd have a go at painting cupcakes. I love her choice of colors.
If you need inspiration before attempting your own masterpieces, check out the internet for some great ideas. Some fantastic results are achieved by using an acrylic medium for the "frosting" and piping it onto the painting through a pastry bag. Once the acrylic medium has dried you can then paint over the frosting with oil paint to give the cupcakes color. If painting is not "your thing", there are lots of gorgeous paintings available to purchase. Below are a few of my favorites.
