Swimming Pool Cupcakes

Swimming Pool Cupcakes are easy to make and they look so cute! They are perfect as birthday cupcakes or great to serve at a beach party or pool party.

Although I don't usually use non-edible toppers for my cupcakes, I find that these are an exception to the rule. They are so irresistible.

What you need:

  • 1 quantity of vanilla cupcakes
  • 1 quantity of buttercream frosting, tinted yellow
  • Blue jello
  • Mini plastic babies
  • Glace frosting
  • When the cakes are cold, scoop out the middle leaving a cake rim to frost with yellow buttercream frosting.
  • Fill the indent with chopped blue jello.
  • Dip the babies heads into glace frosting then into 100s and 1000s to look like a bathing cap.
  • Color the glace frosting and paint it on the bodies for bathers.
  • Pop the babies in a fruit ring and set up a cocktail umbrella.
