Moulding icing into the perfect shape

If your a total beginner like me, the perfect way to make sure you get your icing decoration perfect is to practise first... with your kids Play-Doh!

Doing this I have managed to create a number of designs, including a pair of little booties for a friends sons Christening.

It seems to have a similar consistency and holds it shape remarkable similar to icing.

Thanks very much for your tip Alison. Does anyone else practise with play-doh?
