Molten Lava Chocolate Cupcakes

Mix a batch of your favorite chocolate cupcakes and place half of the batter into each cupcake liner. Stick a piece of chocolate onto the batter and cover with remaining mixture.

Cook until toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Swirl on chocolate frosting and top with chocolate chips.

Enjoy while warm.

Thanks very much for sending in your recipe for molten lava chocolate cupcakes.

They sound very much like a chocolate fondant dessert, which I absolutely love.

There are so many surprise centers you can put in a cupcake. Another great idea is to place a caramel into the middle as that will also turn molten and ooze out. Yummy.
