How much cupcake frosting

Hey There,

Beautiful and informative site! I was wondering how many cups of icing I will need to use the 1M tip to make swirls on 120 cupcakes?

Hi Valerie and thanks for your question.

The amount of frosting you need will depend on the size of the cupcake and the amount of frosting you wish to place on each. A large swirl or just a dainty swirl in the middle of each cupcake?

As frosting can dry out a little I would suggest that you double whichever recipe you decide on and just see how it goes. It may mean that you have to make a second batch but at least your frosting will remain nice and pliable and easy to use.
