butter cream frosting

How many days or hours will the butter cream frosting last once I put it on cupcakes? Please answer.

I find that butter cream frosting lasts quite well. You could easily frost cakes today if you wish to eat them tomorrow. After a couple of days it does set a little and get harder but it does not affect the flavor, only the texture.
