Fruit N Oats Pupcakes

This recipe for fruit n oats pupcakes is really simple. I am sure your pet will love them .... and you.

dog eating pupcake I still tend to line cupcake trays with liners, simply because it's easier to clean the trays afterwards. Just remember to take the liner off before feeding these healthy dog treats to your dog.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose (plain) flour
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

Mix bananas and applesauce together, then beat in eggs.

Toss in all the dry ingredients, and beat until mixed.

Bake at 350F (180C) for 25 minutes.

Frost when cooled (if desired).

Dog-friendly frosting

  • 180g (6 oz) light cream cheese
  • 2 tblsp plain yogurt
  • 2 tblsp honey
  • Flour
Beat cream cheese, yogurt and honey until smooth.

Add enough flour to thicken until you reach a good spreading consistency.
